Good to know
Do I need Ableton Live?
Almost every course is taught in Ableton Live. The beginner course uses Live 12, most genre courses work with Live 11.1 or newer. Each course page lists the software it uses.
Do I need Serum or other plugins?
Many genre courses use Serum or Serum 2. The software requirements on each course page list every plugin used in the course.
Can I skip the Start to Finish course and go straight to the Academy?
Yes. If you already know your genre, start with the Academy. It includes a full Start to Finish track.
I own an Academy. What do I already have?
Every genre Academy includes a full Start to Finish track. The Low End course is part of the Melodic Techno Academy. Parts of Mixing from Start to Finish, Mastering from Start to Finish and Music Theory for Melodic Techno and House come from the Melodic House and Melodic Techno Academies.
Are the courses in English?
Yes. Every course has automatic subtitles in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and German.
